Parasite Eve II (パラサイト・イヴ2) is an action RPG Survival-Horror game released for the PlayStation. The game was developed by Square in 1999. Parasite Eve II is set several years after the events in the original game.
Plot[]
After surviving the events of Parasite Eve Aya Brea left her job as a cop and became an FBI operative of M.I.S.T. (Mitochondrion Investigation and Suppression Agency). In the year 2000 a new breed of neo-Mitochondrion takes over the Akropolis Tower in downtown LA after the first S.W.A.T. team was slaughtered. Aya and her colleague Rupert are called in to investigate.
Gameplay[]
Aya Brea is back. This time there are fewer RPG elements than in Parasite Eve, and the game plays more like Resident Evil, battles are now entirely action-oriented, and a new range of weapons is available. Defeating enemies rewards money as well as points used to revive and power-up Aya's suppressed Parasite powers, like healing and igniting foes..
