Back in 1995 is a 2016 indie survival-horror game, It's the work of one man, Takashi Ichijo.

Plot[edit | edit source]

The protagonist, Kent, is trying to reach a radio tower in the middle of a monster infested, post-apocalyptic city. As he travel across offices, rooftops and skyscrapers, he realise something about himself.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

The game aim to reproduce faithfully the look and feel of classic survival-horror form the 90's. Therefore the players uses tank controls to move the character around, solve puzzles and fight enemies with a limited ammount of supplies.

The game have an early PS1 game aesthetic, in fact it was among the first indie games to uses such artstyle.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

Althouth it has been compared to Silent Hill and Resident Evil, the game pay a lot of tributes to RiverhillSoft games, such as Overblood and Doctor Hauzer.
